What this site collects today

The site itself is static and holds no database. Human Context stores nothing about you on this site. The only place your details go is the newsletter provider described below, and only if you choose to subscribe.

The newsletter

Subscriptions are handled by beehiiv, which is live and is the only third party that receives anything you type.

The signup form collects your email address, and a first name if you choose to give one; the name is optional and the form works without it. When you submit, that address, the first name if present, and a note of where the signup came from — that it originated on humancontext.world, from the website rather than another channel — are sent to beehiiv. Nothing else about your visit is sent with it.

Signup uses double opt-in. Adding your address to the form does not subscribe you. beehiiv emails you a confirmation link, and you are only added to the list once you follow it. If you never confirm, you are never subscribed.

The tick box on the form is checked in your browser before it will send. Human Context does not keep its own separate record of that tick: the confirmation that counts is the one you complete by email, which beehiiv records against your subscription.

Every newsletter email carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect without needing to ask anyone. You can also write to hello@humancontext.world and ask to be removed, or ask what is held about you. Your subscription is stored by beehiiv under their own privacy terms.

The contact form

The contact form does not send anything to this site or to any server. It assembles a message and opens it in your own mail application, where nothing is sent until you press send yourself. Human Context only ever sees what arrives as an ordinary email, and only once you have sent it.

Analytics

The site is hosted on Vercel, and Vercel’s aggregate analytics is switched on for it. It counts page views and visits, and records coarse detail alongside them such as which page was viewed, the referring site, country, device type and browser.

It is aggregate by design: it sets no cookies, writes nothing to your browser’s storage, does not build a profile of you, and does not follow you to other sites. There is no advertising network, no marketing pixel and no session recording on this site.

Cookies

Human Context sets no advertising cookies, no marketing cookies, and no cookies that identify you. Only the essential technology needed to serve the pages and to submit the newsletter form is active, and the analytics described above is cookieless.

That means there are currently no optional cookies to manage, and nothing to switch on or off. The Cookie Preferences link in the footer opens a panel that says exactly that. If optional cookies are ever introduced, they will be listed there, they will be off until you turn them on, and this page will be updated to describe them.

Who is responsible
