Accessibility

This site aims to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That is the standard the work is measured against, not a certification: no third party has audited this site, and saying it meets a standard is easier than proving it. What follows is what has actually been built and checked.

Current measures include semantic structure and a logical heading order, a skip link, visible focus states on every interactive control, full keyboard operation, text alternatives for meaningful graphics and empty alternatives for decorative ones, colour contrast checked by measurement rather than by eye, and support for reduced-motion preferences.

The context diagram never uses colour alone to show selection. Selected layers are also marked in the control state, named in the panel, and exposed to assistive technology through the pressed state of each control and a spoken value on the slider.

Some things are known to fall short of the target, and new work can introduce new problems. If something here is difficult or impossible to use, please say so and it will be fixed.
